This investigation was released by Nashi Groshi (ZIK TV) in December 2014 and supported by Objective Investigative Reporting Project.
Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine has stopped a suspicious public procurement purchase initiated by the Defense Ministry right on time: the ministry was about to buy fuel from a firm that exists on paper only.
Its registered owner is an unemployed man who is oblivious about his supposed fuel trade business.
When the journalists looked into the strange deal, the trace of the unexisting firm led them to a very real company owned by an even more real politician – ex-governor of Kherson Oblast and a passionate admirer of former President Viktor Yanukovych.
